Everybody has one, sometimes even more than one, but what do you do if you don't yet know you have a superpower?
There will be a time in everyone's life when they either realize their inner potential or they will realize that it is possible to do by seeing others do it. Of course, it's better to aim to do so yourself.
1. Who are your (super) heroes?
Is it a historical figure, Oprah, Martin Luther King Jr, your mother, your father, thought leader, your favorite writer, singer, artist, actress, athlete? Think of who you look up to and imagine if they never unlocked their full potential. Maybe you wouldn't be where you are today if it wasn't for their influence.
2. Think of what your superpower may be.
Do you have dreams that give you answers to your questions, teach you, help you, or just come true? Can you manifest anything you want, dream, or think about? Can you heal people through reiki or by simply speaking to them and changing their mindset?
Can you fix anything by having a magic touch? Or maybe you have Midas touch and you can turn anything into gold? (Figuratively speaking. That myth doesn't have a great ending.) Maybe you can sell anything to anyone. Or get people to follow your lead. Perhaps you're great at communication, getting things done, or motivating others. Maybe you can figure out any problem and find a solution for anything anyone comes to you with.
What if you're a talented doctor or surgeon and you've saved lives (literally)? What if you are an amazing vet or want your own puppy or kitty (or another animal you love) sanctuary so they don't go to the pound?
Maybe you are an amazing stylist that makes people feel amazing about themselves inside and out. Maybe you're an incredible musician or filmmaker who's helped others feel or go through something. Maybe you've changed someone's life. Maybe you're a great athlete and an inspiration to others. Maybe you're an actor/actress who plays, has played, or will play a role on TV that will be some kids' best friend and a great influence for all 10 seasons of the show while they're growing up.
3. Your Superpower = Your Purpose.
Whatever it is, I bet it's something that involves other people besides you. It starts with you but as it grows, it helps you help others. Whether it's direct help or inspiring them to follow your path, it affects everybody.
Our super power is our purpose, and our purpose involves others.
Go on then, others are dependent on you to find your superpower and thus your purpose in life to help them find theirs.
My superpowers? Loving others, inspiring them, and manifesting.
Remember, you can change lives.
You do change lives.
