It's so important to take time for yourself. Relax, decompress, get back to zen, get to your happy neutral.
We should strive to take care of ourselves first so we have enough to give to others.
You could take a day to relax or an hour. Just a few minutes could be enough to get you in a better headspace. Here are some of the ideas you could do for yourself this week and any week:
Go to bed earlier or sleep in. Really catch up on those zzz's.
Take a bubble bath or shower with your favorite scrub.
Use your favorite lotion you save for a special day.
Spend the day with your favorite person or people.
Eat whatever you want. Indulge and enjoy every bite.
Listen to an audiobook or a podcast you've been putting off.
Watch your favorite movie.
Call your mom and chat on the phone for an hour.
Unplug from technology for as long as you can.
Go for a long walk outside.
Take a class at the gym you've been wanting to take.
Buy yourself flowers.
Go to a day spa.
Cuddle up with a new or old book.
Get a mani/pedi.
Get a massage.
Journal about your wonderful life. Start a journal if you don't have one.
Take a nap whenever you want to.
Do something creative like drawing, painting, or sewing.
Color in a coloring book.
Breathe in deep, breathe out twice as long.
Go to a music show.
Go to a museum.
Say "no" to an activity that's been causing you anxiety.
Put a puzzle together.
Make a playlist.
Make a vision board or collage with magazine cutouts.
Dance to your favorite song.
Try a new tea flavor.
Do a weekend trip.
Have a staycation.
Be a tourist in your own city.
Take yourself out to the movies.
Get some organic produce.
Get a fresh fruit cup.
Order in food.
Put on a face mask.
